Lady Raiders Head to State Tournament, Tickets on Sale Now

Bolingbrook could secure a third-straight state championship this weekend with two wins in Bloomington.

Tickets for the Bolingbrook Lady Raiders' fifth-straight IHSA Final Four appearance are on sale now, available through the Bolingbrook High School athletic director's office.

Those tickets could be proof of history—only one other team has won a state title in three-consecutive years. Bolingbrook is the odds-on favorite to win Friday night's semi-final game against rival Whitney Young, and then again in Saturday's championship game.

Zion-Benton and Maine South will play in the other semi.

All tickets are $10 per person per session and are good for general admission. There is no reserved seating, according to a Valley View release.

The game will also be broadcast live on WJOL Radio, 1340 AM, with Scott Slocum handling the play-by-play.

Win or lose this weekend, the Lady Raiders will be honored for another outstanding season at a community-wide celebration at 2 p.m. on Sunday in the BHS gymnasium, the release said.

The celebration is open to anyone who wishes to attend.
