Readers' Choice: Which Lemont Preschool is Tops?

Cast your vote and leave a business review by Friday to determine the winner.

Any decision about your children ranks among the most important choices you make. It never hurts to have the wisdom of parents who have “been there, done that” when you send your kids off to the first years of school.

In this week’s Readers’ Choice, we’re asking you to share your thoughts on Lemont’s preschools. Write a review by clicking on the preschool’s name, vote in the poll below or do both! Voting closes at noon Friday.

And Patch fans, let's keep comments constructive and friendly. Obviously opinions will vary, but this feature is meant to highlight the great things about Lemont businesses, not the bad.

Happy Hands has an excellent curriculum and staff. It's such a friendly enviroment where parents and teachers interact easily. The class sizes are small, which allows the teachers to do so much with the kids. There is a good balance between ABC's, 123's and fun. It's definately a place that fosters creativity and puts emphasis on positive social interaction.

Both my boys have been part of the Lemont Park District Preschool and have loved it. Having been able to do a ton of mommy and me classes through the Park District, both boys were extremely comfortable with the environment and the teachers. Also the add on classes to the preschool program really allowed for a well balanced experience and helped prepare my older one for kindergarten, especially with their Ready Set Read classes. The teachers are all very loving and really care about our kids.

Everest is excellent. I am sure there are many good programs but we fell in love with Everest's commitment to forming leaders. The school is full of children who are overflowing with confidence and a sense of community. It starts at the pre-k level and builds from there we have 4 children and are thankful for a place such as Everest.

Both of my children went through 2 years at Lemont Park District preschool and I think it was the perfect blend of fun and learning. They have so many years of serious learning ahead who better than a park district to teach them how to function in a group and enjoy learning not only letters and numbers but sharing and having fun!

I love msol. I have been a student there since I was 3 and am now in eighth grade and it is just as great. I love my teachers and the Montessori curriculum is actually followed there. Msol all the way.
