A recent University of Illinois grad is now a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force.
Nichole Evans, a Bolingbrook resident and former Bolingbrook High School student, graduated from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana May 12 with a degree in agricultural engineering.
On May 13, she was commissioned into the United States Air Force as a second lieutenant to begin her pilot training.
