A little girl enjoyed a big moment during a recent open house event at Bolingbrook's Jane Addams Middle School.
Barbara Garduno, who is a third-grader at Independence Elementary School—and a future Jane Addams student—led the crowd in the Pledge of Allegiance. And Valley View School District officials were on hand to capture the moment—the photo of principal Jason Pascavage holding the microphone for Garduno telling the the story.
