Valley View Hosts Latino Community Fair

Event open to parents in Romeoville, Bolingbrook.

A wide variety of services from health and human services to every-day recreation to child care and much more will be on display Thursday, March 27at the 5th annual Valley View School District 365U Latino Community Fair.

Scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Bolingbrook High School cafeteria (enter via door 17 on the southeast side of the school), the free fair will feature such organizations as the Child Care Resource group, DuPage Township, Guardian Angel, the White Oak and Fountaindale libraries, the Bolingbrook Park District and the Romeoville Recreation Department.

Sparky, the mascot of the Chicago Fire soccer club, will make a special appearance during the evening. A drawing will be held for tickets to the April 5Fire contest against Philadelphia and other prizes.

Refreshments will be served, and free child care will be available.

The event is sponsored by the Bilingual Parent Council of Valley View School District 365U.
