With one year of " under its belt, officials want to know what the community would like to see from the district in the future.
A survey, which will be open for public input through mid-July, is available here.
Survey-takers are asked to identify their relationship to the school district and rate the district's support of learning, discipline, teachers and staff.
Other questions ask respondents if they think the district puts academic progress first, whether more focus should be placed on techology, if the district should offer a pre-school program for all children, and if Valley View needs more after-school activities for middle- and high-school students, among other inquiries.
Survey-takers are asked to rate their answers on a scale of "strongly agree" to "strongly disagree."
There are also three open-ended questions that offer survey respondents the opportunity to give their thoughts on the district's greatest strengths, areas that need improvement, and what Valley View can do to improve relationships with the community.
