Valley View Students Dominate JJC Game Design Contest

Valley View School District 365U high school students swept the top four places at the annual Joliet Junior College Game Design Contest.

Romeoville High School’s Ian Dattomo was the contest winner, with Jeffrey Santana from Bolingbrook High School placing second.

Third place went to Kyron Griffin of BHS, while Estefanie Alvarez of RHS finished fourth.

In all, 19 students competed for the title in the contest which is designed to give students in the JJC attendance area a chance to design and create a computer game using Game Maker software.
