Valley View's Mitchem to Serve on State Panel
Superintendent will discuss education trends, funding.
Valley View School District 365U Superintendent Dr. James A. Mitchem Jr. has been asked to serve on an April 1 statewide panel of experts exploring the critical relationship between efforts to improve educational opportunities for students and funding for those efforts.
The panel discussion will take place during the Large Unit District Association’s Education Legislative Institute in Springfield.
Other panel members will include State Superintendent Chris Koch, Illinois Education Association President Cinda Klickna and State Senator Andy Manar.
