Whiz Kids: Brooks' Baseball Team Claims Regional Crown

The Bulldogs move on to the Troy sectional for an 11 a.m. game Saturday against the host school. The winner advances to the state quarterfinals at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 30 in East Peoria. Semifinals and finals are Oct. 1.

  • Key to Awesomeness: Brooks Middle School secured an Illinois Elementary School Association regional baseball championship Tuesday with a 4-2 victory over Lisle Junior High. The Bulldogs move on to the Troy sectional for an 11 a.m. game Saturday against the host school. The winner advances to the state quarterfinals at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 30 in East Peoria. Semifinals and finals are Oct. 1.
