Found it on Etsy: Watercolor of Chicago Skyline

Local artisan says themes of her current artwork include orchestral instruments, musicians and performers.

Many were looking at the boats on Lake Michigan.

Not a local artisan named Lee from Bolingbrook. I Found her—and her work—on Etsy.

“I turned around and got a fascinating cityscape of Chicago at sunset,” she said in describing her original watercolor on archival paper, Chicago Skyline, View from Navy Pier, Summer 2013. “Clouds had been looming all day over the city.”

Lee is selling the 30x22 watercolor painting for $1,500 through her online Etsy store, Symphonyofwatercolor. She opened the store in November of 2013.

“Resident artist at Art Cube Studios in Plainfield since 2013. Themes of current artwork include orchestral instruments, musicians, performers and staging. Costume paintings can be created.”

Lee lists her favorite painting materials/subjects like this: watercolor, musical instruments, landscapes, cityscape, places, grapevine, sunsets, Lake Michigan and orchestra.
