Any journey worth taking starts small—often with one single first step.
And that's where Bolingbrook is at heading into tonight's first-round matchup vs. Bloom Township in the Class 8A football playoffs. The Raiders—undefeated and undisputed champions of the Southwest Suburban Blue Conference for the first time since 2008—have their sights set on putting another big piece of hardware in the school's trophy case come the end of November.
But they have to start with a first step.
