Bolingbrook Crowned Winner in Southwest Suburban Blue Boys Bowling

The Raiders, though they were edged by one pin in Saturday's tournament at Orland Bowl—still managed to stave off Lockport in the chase for the overall points title.

The Bolingbrook boys bowling team wrapped up the overall title in the Southwest Suburban Blue Conference with a second-place finish in Saturday's conference tournament at Orland Bowl, according to a Sun-Times News Group report.

Bolingbrook was edged by one pin by Lockport in the conference tournament—6,269 to 6,268. But the Raiders—with 96 points—took the overall title based on a combination of results from the regular season the the conference tournament. Lockport was second with 86 points.
