Bolingbrook Girls Basketball to Take on Romeoville in Sectional Play

The Lady Raiders will play Romeoville High School Tuesday night in the first game of the Oswego IHSA 4A sectional.

The Bolingbrook High School girls basketball team will continue its playoff berth in a Valley View match-up Tuesday night.

The Lady Raiders will take on Romeoville High School at 6 p.m. in the first game of the Oswego High School sectional.

The winner of that game will play the winner of the Neuqua Valley/Naperville Central match-up.

The Lady Raiders won three state titles in three years before falling to Whitney Young last year in the IHSA Class 4A Super-Sectional. According to ESPN,

The truth is when Whitney Young walked off the court victorious over Bolingbrook at the Hinsdale super-sectional on Monday it essentially won the Class 4A state championship.

Undefeated Whitney Young went on to take the state title over Edwardsville 63-51.

Bolingbrook went 12-0 in conference in the 2012-2013 season and has an overall record of 23-5, according to MaxPreps.

Here's an idea....maybe the IHSA (or whoever "rigs" the brackets) ought to to ensure that the 4 best teams in state don't actually meet until they get down state.
