BHS Senior Wins Tennis Sectional, Advances to State
Nneka Onyejiaka won the Downers Grove South girls tennis sectional this weekend and advances to the next week's state finals.
Bolingbrook High School senior Nneka Onyejiaka cruised past Glenbard South's Jenna Brambora 6-0, 6-1 to win the Downers Grove South girls tennis sectional Saturday and advance to next weekend's state finals.
Onyejiaka's toughest match came in the semfinals where it took three sets to beat Caroline Maltby from Glenbard West 2-6, 6-2 and 7-5. She won her first two matches 6-0, 6-0 and 6-0, 6-2.
