Bolingbrook's Hodges Commits to Bradley

Raiders' 6-foot-7-inch power forward signs national letter of intent to play basketball for Missouri Valley Conference school.

Add another to the list of student athletes joining the collegiate ranks.

Devon Hodges, the 6-foot-7 Bolingbrook basketball power forward, signed a national letter of intent to play for the Bradley Braves, according to a report from the Peoria Journal Star last week.

Hodges had previously committed to the University of Wisconsin, a perennial contender in the Big Ten, during his sophomore season but reneged his commitment during his junior year.

"Everything was great as far as the people and the environment there," Hodges told the Peoria Journal Star. "It's close to home, the guys were good and the coaches were wonderful. Overall, it felt like the right place."

Bradley plays in the Missouri Valley Conference and finished in last place with a  12-20 overall record.
