Brooks Blanks Jane Addams to Win Regional Baseball Championship

Bolingbrook's Brooks Middle School blanked rival Jane Addams Middle School 4-0 in the championship game of the IESA Glendale Heights Regional on Monday.
Next, Brooks (8-6) will face Homer Junior High at 11 a.m. Saturday in sectional play at Homer. The winner advances to the state quarterfinals at 12:30 p.m. on Oct. in East Peoria.
Brooks reached the regional title game by defeating Glenside Junior High 10-4. Jane Addams advanced with a 5-0 victory over Lisle.
