Brooks to Host Valley View Cheerleader Camp

Brooks Middle School is sponsoring a two-day Cheer Camp March 7 and 8 for Brooks, Pioneer, Oak View and Wood View students in 7th grade and younger. 

The March 7 session will run from 6 to 8:30 p.m., while the March 8 session is from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The cost for the two sessions is $30 per person.

Traci Falese, head coach of the state qualifying Brooks Middle School cheerleading team, will conduct the camp which will include training on the proper techniques, jumps, motions and dance routines necessary to be a cheerleader at the middle school level.

Participants should wear a tucked-in short sleeve t-shirt, shorts that are not too short, and gym shoes that are tied and have a smooth sole if possible. Hair should be up and off the shoulders. No jewelry should be worn. A hair bow is strongly suggested.

Boys are welcome.
