Five Bolingbrook HS Football Players Sign College Letters of Intent

Bolingbrook High School students will play at the University of Illinois, the University of Central Missouri, Culver-Stockton College and the University of Wyoming.

Five Bolingbrook High School football players have signed NCAA letters of intent to play college ball in the fall.

Quarterback Aaron Bailey will attend the University of Illinois. The 6-2, 225 pounder rushed for 742 yards and 12 touchdowns and passed for 349 yards and 4 touchdowns during what was an injury-plagued season.

Running back Omar Stover has utilized early graduation to head for University of Wyoming already. He carried the ball 112 times for 1,012 yards as a senior, scoring 12 touchdowns.

Defensive back Greg Amos signed with University of Central Missouri. Amos, who stands 6-0 and weighs 175 pounds, had 20 tackles, 16 assists,4 interceptions and a fumble recovery as a senior.

Defensive end Phillip Stevens will attend Culver-Stockton College in  Missouri.  Stevens amassed 12 tackles and 37 tackle assists while recovering three fumbles.

Wide receiver Chandler Piekarski signed with St. Joseph’s College in Indiana. Piekarski caught 27 passes for 397 yards and a touchdown last fall.
