Former Raider Morrison Suspended Two Games After Latest Run-In With Police

Charges dropped in latest arrest in Florida.

Former Bolingbrook High School football standout Antonio Morrison ran into more trouble with Florida law enforcement over the weekend.

However, as quickly as the University of Florida linebacker was arrested, the charges were dropped.

Morrison was charged with barking at a police dog and resisting arrest early Sunday morning, according to  a report from cbssports.com

The charges were dismissed for what Alachua County State’s Attorney Bill Cervone sais was a “lack of evidence to warrant much less legally sustain those charges,” said an Associated Press report.

Morrison was walking with a group of people past a police car and began barking at the dog inside the vehicle, said the cbssports.com report. He was subsequently arrested by officers and charged with two misdemeanors, the report said.

This isn’t Morrison’s first run in with police in recent months. Morrison was arrested in June after police said he punched a bouncer at a Gainesville bar. Morrison later agreed to a deferred prosecution agreement in that case.
