Then Bolingbrook and Whitney Young traded the lead back and forth before Whitney Young's Khaalia Hillsman scored the winning layout with eight seconds left, according to the Trib. Teammate Linnae Harper then stole the ball from Bolingbrook at halfcourt to clinch the 60-61 win.

It was the seventh time in eight years the two teams met in the IHSA playoffs. In 2012, the Bolingbrook/Whitney Young showdown wasn't decided until overtime #4. Whitney Young went on to be the 2012 IHSA 4A State Champions.

The winner of Bolingbrook's supersectional game has won the 4A state title every year since the IHSA expanded girls basketball from two classes to four in 2008, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Bolingbrook ends the season with a 24-6 record overall. Whitney Young will advance to the IHSA semifinal competition on Friday.
