Girls Basketball: Lady Raiders Coast Into Postseason Behind 50-point Win

Bolingbrook 91, Homewood-Flossmoor 41. Four different Lady Raiders scored in double figures Friday in Bolingbrook's 50-point win, led by Morgan Tuck's 27 points.

The Hot Read: The Bolingbrook Lady Raiders showed Homewood-Flossmoor what a well-oiled machine looks like on the hardwood in the team's final tuneup before the postseason in a 91-41 victory. Eleven different Bolingbrook players scored Friday, four of which tallied in double figures. Junior forward Morgan Tuck (27 points) led the charge as senior guard Ariel Massengale (15), along with juniors Allie Hill (14) and Kierra Ray (13) contributed to Bolingbrook's balanced offense.

Patch's MVP: Morgan Tuck, who finished with a game-high 27 points, including a near-perfect night at the free-throw line as she hit 11 of 12 attempts.

Key Stats: Both teams combined to shoot 82 percent from the charity stripe as Homewood-Flossmoor hit 10-of-12 from the line and Bolingbrook knocked down 18-of-22. Bolingbrook's top four scorers (Tuck, Massengale, Hill and Ray) combined to score 69 points, accounting for 75 percent of the Lady Raiders' offense.
