Jane Addams Girls Cross Country Team Finishes 21st in State

Four Valley View runners finished in the top 60 at Saturday's state final cross country meet.

Four Valley View School District 365U middle school cross country runners placed in the top 60 at Saturday's rain-plagued Illinois Elementary School Association state finals in Pekin.

Jane Addams eighth-grader Caleb Robertson ran the course in 11:13 to finish 20th on the boys' side. A. Vito Martinez eighth-grader Justin Suits was 45th in 11:33.

On the girls side, Jane Addams Middle School finished 21st as a team. Addams eighth-grader Arianna Amill was VVSD's highest finishing girl at 46th in a time of 12:39. Humphrey's Trianna Rodriguez was 53rd in 12:41.
