Massengale Named All-American, Leads Bolingbrook to 20th Win

Bolingbrook's seniors lead the way in final game of regular season.

The Hot Read:  On the same day she was named a McDonald’s All-American, Bolingbrook’s star senior guard, Ariel Massengale, scored 11 points in the first quarter to help the Lady Raiders pull away from Joliet Central early. Bolingbrook’s defense then held the Steelmen to just two points in the second half and didn’t give up a basket in the fourth quarter.

Patch’s MVP:  Ariel Massengale was once again the best player on the court.  Her 3-pointer in the second quarter ignited a 13-0 run that pushed the Bolingbrook’s lead to 50 points before halftime.  Massengale scored 25 points in the first half and finished the game with her first triple-double of the season.

Key Stats: All five Bolingbrook starters scored in double figures.
