Neuqua Valley, of the Upstate Eight (Valley) Conference, finished its regular season with a 5-4, 3-3 record and enter the playoffs on a three-game losing streak.
The Raiders, meanwhile, have lost just one game this season—a to Lincoln-Way East, the top-ranked team in Illinois Class 7A football.
