Romeoville, Bolingbrook Make Strides At Downers Grove South Meet

The fast track at North Central College in Naperville proved to speed up the pace of the Downers Grove South Mustang Relays.

Student-athletes for the Romeoville Spartans and Bolingbrook Lady Raiders track and field teams took advantage of a fast track to stretch their respective legs at the Downers Grove South Mustang Relays Monday.

The event, held on the campus of North Central College in Naperville, featured six running events, more than 30 teams and 28 heats.

Bolingbrook had its best showing in the girls' 4x200 meter relay. The Lady Raiders finished in second place with a blazing time of 1:45.91. Bolingbrook's 'B' squad also showed off its wheels with a 10th place finish, coming in at 1:49.10.
