Are you up for a little out of the ordinary run?

Well, then you might be interested in the Cross Trail Classic, a Bolingbrook Park District-sponsored event for ages 13-up on Sept. 21 at Indian Boundry Park.

The Classic is billed as "the only trail run in the area" where competitors will "tackle obstacles and challenges designed to test your fitness levels."

Some of the obstacles included:

  • Booty Blaster (burpee station will test your physical limits)
  • Terrible Traverse (navigate a ropes station while maintaining your balance)

The Classic starts at 9 a.m. at Indian Boundary and winds through the Hidden Oaks Conservation Area. You can register at any Bolingbrook Park District facility or online by visiting http://www.signmeup.com/94039.
