Your Guide to Bolingbrook's 2013 Fourth of July Celebration

Enjoy fireworks, food, games and more at Bolingbrook's annual July 4th celebration.

Celebrate Independence Day in with hours of entertainment, food and drink. Admission to the celebration at the Bolingbrook Golf Club, 2001 Rodeo Dr., is free. 

Fireworks 

Fireworks will follow the singing of the National Anthem at 9:15 p.m. July 4 by Jim Cornelison from the Chicago Blackhawks.

Food & Drink

Enjoy the large outdoor patio with seating featuring Budweiser brands and The Party Trailer. You must be 21+ to enter. 

Avion Tequila Outdoor Tavern 

The tavern offers a large tent with a mahogany, full-service bar, plus high-top tables. You must be 21+ to enter. 

Bolingbrook Golf Club Food Pavilion 

The pavilion offers burgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, bratwursts and Nancy's Pizza. 

All-You-Can Eat BBQ Buffet Dinner 

The dinner will be served in the Reagan Brand Ballroom.Reservations are required. Doors open at 4 p.m. Enjoy grilled chicken breast sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches, build-a-burger station, corn on the cob, tomato basil salad, farfalle pasta salad, fresh fruit, dessert tray and more. Kids' section includes hot dogs, chicken tenders and macaroni and cheese. 

Admission for non-members is $18.95 for adults and $12.95 for children under 12. Admission for members is $16.95 for adults and $10.95 for children.

Kids' Games and Music 

Music kick off at 2 p.m. at the Budweiser Concert Pavilion. Kids' games and prizes will take place at 3 p.m. Then there's the following music schedule: 

  • 2 p.m. The Messengers
  • 3 p.m. Kids' games and prizes 
  • 3:30 p.m. Rendition 
  • 5:30 p.m. Mike & Joe 
  • 7:45 p.m. The Gina Glocksen Band 
  • 9:15 p.m. National Anthem 

There will also be a DJ in addition to the bands. Enjoy a dual lane giant slide, obstacle course, bungee run, wind tunnel, moonwalk, tot town and gladiator joust throughout the event. 

Parking 

Take a free shuttle bus from Dalton Lane and Rodeo Drive and Rodeo Drive and Kings Road in the grass lot.
