Bolingbrook Students Taking Holiday Wishes to Troops Serving Abroad

Plus, Everyday Essentials and a handy Patch user guide.

Some holiday surprises and well wishes are headed the way of U.S. troops thanks to an effort spearheaded by the Bolingbrook High School National Honor Society.

Bolingbrook National Honor Society members Brieanne Smith, Kokeith Perry and Jerome Davis took a moment out recently to show off donated hygiene products and several hundred cards and letters written by Bolingbrook students and staff members.

The goodies will be shipped to the troops on time for the holidays, according to a Valley View School District news release.
