St. Dominic Church
Founded in 1963, St. Dominic Church is one of two Roman Catholic churches in the Bolingbrook area. The church, which is located next to its own St. Dominic School off East Briarcliff Road, hosts ministries such as the Knights of Columbus, the Council of Catholic Women, Project Gabriel and the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
As Bolingbrook's Hispanic population began to rise in the 1990s, St. Dominic Church became a leader in the local Hispanic worship community. The church now offers three masses in Spanish, in addition to its four English services. For more information about St. Dominic, visit the church's Web site.
