Ramza, a senior at Blackburn College, was found dead in his dorm room Saturday. Memorial visitation will take place Friday.

Ramza was a 2006 graduate of Bolingbrook High School. He loved soccer and played in junior high, at BHS, in club sports and in college, according to his obituary. Ramza was studying criminal justice at Blackburn, a school of about 550 students outside of St. Louis in Carlinville, IL. He was born in Des Plaines and lived in Bolingbrook before recently moving to Romeoville. Debbie Caputo, our 2012 Bolingbrook Patch Person of the Year, died Monday at the age of 44. READ MORE: Caputo was a 20-year resident of Bolingbrook. Her two daughters, Marissa and Alyssa, attend Bolingbrook High School. For seven years, she was a fitness instructor and personal trainer at the Bolingbrook Park District. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Bolingbrook-McCauley Funeral Chapel and Crematorium, 530 W. Boughton Rd. The funeral procession will leave Bolingbrook-McCauley at 10:45 a.m. Mass will be held at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 505 Kingston Dr. in Romeoville. Cremation will be private. I'm grateful that I had Debbie has my personal trainer for the Dance Your Gut Off group. She believed in me when I didn't believe in myself. She taught a tough class and challenged me to push harder. I'm glad I was able to see her four months ago to tell her thank you and report that I had lost 70 lbs. She's a gem that will always be in my heart. You will be missed. more ›
