Bolingbrook Soldier Receives Award for Army Service
Spc. Robert Krueger received a one-star general's challenge coin July 13.
Spc. Robert Krueger, of Bolingbrook, was recognized July 13 for his service in the 108th Sustainment Brigade. About 40 Soldiers in units of the 108th Sustainment Brigade, based in Chicago, received a commander's challenge coin during their annual training Camp Ripley in Little Falls, Minn. The Soldiers awarded "have been critical in the 108th's medical, sustainment operations and mission," according to a press release. The 108th supports about 3,200 Illinois Army National Guard Soldiers training at Camp Ripley. "Each soldier who was coined, earned it," said Dukett.
