7-Eleven in Bolingbrook will offer any-sized coffee, tea, cappuccino or latte for $1 on Wednesday. 7-Eleven will also introduce a new blend to its coffee line-up. The convenience store celebrates its birthday/anniversary every year by giving away its signature 7.11-ounce frozen drinks for free.
It seems hard to believe, but the first 7-Eleven store opened in 1927, meaning the convenience store chain will celebrate its 85th anniversary this year. This is exciting for one reason: 7-Eleven Day is almost here -- free Slurpees for everyone! As has become the annual tradition, 7-Eleven patrons will be given a free 7.11-ounce Slurpee simply for the asking anytime between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. July 11. That's this Wednesday.
