Two local American Idol contestants have left the show. Mariah Pulice, of Downers Grove, and Alex Oechsel, of Naperville, were both selected to go to Hollywood at the Chicago auditions. Pulice is a graduate of Downers Grove South High School. Oechsel is a junior at Benet Academy. This week, everyone sent to Hollywood battled to be in the American Idol's Top 40. Last month, we saw Naperville resident and Benet Academy junior Alex Oechsel seal a trip to Hollywood for Fox's American Idol.
