Five Candidates File for Valley View School Board on First Day
Two incumbents and three challengers filed petitions for the Valley View school board Monday.
Five candidates filed Monday for the four Valley View School District 365U Board of Education seats that will be on the April 9 ballot. All five candidates were from Bolingbrook. Two incumbents, Chrystal Hansen and Ronnie Bull, were among them. There were also three challengers: Deborah Sykora, Sinatra Strong and Daniel Falese. Deborah Sykora, of 316 Bedford, earned the top spot on the ballot in a lottery held this afternoon. The second ballot spot went to Sinatra Strong, of 1442 Hawk Drive, followed by Daniel Falese, of 488 Pheasant Chase, and incumbent Chrystal Hansen, of 418 Foxborough Trail.
