Bolingbrook Churches Offer Drive-Thru Ash Wednesday Services
Crossroads of Faith Church and the Episcopal Church of St. Benedict in Bolingbrook will both hold "drive-thru" Ash Wednesday services Wednesday morning .
Two Bolingbrook churches will hold "drive-thru" Ash Wednesday services Wednesday morning: Crossroads of Faith United Methodist Church in Bolingbrook and the Episcopal Church of St. Benedict. Crossroads of Faith United Methodist Church's service will be offered from 6:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. Wednesday. A pastor will meet drivers at the pavilion at 1570 Rodeo Drive, where they will receive a blessing and ashes. Crossroads of Faith started offering the "drive-thru" service several years ago, and it has grown in popularity ever since.
