Bolingbrook Patch has acquired health inspections to every restaurant in town; some of the results may surprise you. Here's a list of the 10 cleanest.

*After initial inspections, restaurants are given a period of time to correct their demerits on a given inspection. In most cases, the initial score is improved upon because restaurants clean a shelf, throw away old food, etc.

Beat the Heat: Six Great Businesses to Enjoy National Ice Cream Day

Today is National Ice Cream Day. And what better way to beat the heat than to enjoy a couple scoops with family and friends?

Looking for some relief from the heat? You're in luck! Today, according to the National Dairy Foods Association is National Ice Cream Day. In 1984, President Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month and the third Sunday of the month as National Ice Cream Day.  According to the NDFA, the nation's ice cream industry generates more than $21 billion in annual sales and provides jobs for thousands of citizens. About 9 percent of all the milk produced by U.S. dairy farmers is used to produce ice cream, contributing significantly to the economic well-being of the nation's dairy industry. Baskin-Robbins to Offer 31 Cent Ice Cream Tonight

Baskin-Robbins, the popular ice cream shop is thanking its customers by offering scoops of ice cream for 31 cents.

On Wednesday evening, the Bolingbrook Baskin-Robbins, at 751 E Boughton Rd., will host its fifth annual 31 Cent Scoop Night. The event, which is celebrated at all 2,700 stores nationwide, is the company's way of thanking their customers by reducing the price of ice cream scoops to $0.31. Firefighters from the Illinois Association of Firefighters Local 3966 will be at Baskin-Robbins from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. They recommend the April flavor of the month, "Firehouse #31," a red cinnamon ice cream laced with vanilla ice cream and cinnamon candy chunks. Baskin-Robbins has partnered this year with the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation to extend support to the firefighting community.
