Another motorcycle accident has been reported in Bolingbrook. Readers reported Boughton Road was closed at Route 53 around 3 p.m. Monday with lots of police, an ambulance on the scene and a motorcycle sitting on the concrete. The accident occurred right in front of the Shell station on the east side of Route 53, according to one witness. Early reports indicate the accident involved a car and a motorcycle. This is the third accident in Bolingbrook involving a motorcycle in the past week and the fourth in the Bolingbrook/Romeoville area. Last month, two women were found dead in a car that authorities believe jumped the barrier of the Harlem Avenue bridge in Lyons and plummeted 50 feet to the ground, according to the Bolingbrook Reporter. Now, the woman believed to have been driving the car at the time of the accident has been charged. Michelle Miranda, 37, of Berwyn, and Sandra Frankum, 36, of Bolingbrook were both found dead in the overturned car Jan. 26, according to the Bolingbrook Reporter. The accident is believed to have occurred at 2 a.m. Police said there were no witnesses and no one called 911 about the accident until ten hours later, when a truck driver reported a car on its roof below the bridge.
