Armed Man in 'Large Group Fight' Arrested: Bolingbrook Police Blotter

Burglary at Bolingbrook business, disorderly conduct and more in the Bolingbrook police blotter of April 14-15.

April 15  Burglary at Bolingbrook business  Officers were called to a business on the 500 block of N. Janes Avenue for the report of a burglary, police said. A door was found broken and a safe was stolen between midnight and 5 a.m. The loss was valued at $2,000. Unlawful use of weapon  Breon Kines, 20, 325 Ottawa Dr., was arrested at 5:20 p.m. and charged with unlawful use of weapon on the 100 block of Nottingham Drive after a call to the 200 block of N. Schmidt for a large group fighting, police said.  Disorderly conduct, resisting a peace officer  Jose Aguilar, 25, 15 A Fernwood Dr., was arrested at 2:01 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and Abraham Dangla, 24, 218 Paddington Ln., was arrested and charged with resisting a peace …

Burglar Steals $32,000 in Goods from Bolingbrook Townhome: Police

A thief recently stole jewelry and tech equipment from a Bolingbrook home, according to Bolingbrook police.

A burglar stole $32,000 in jewelry and tech equipment from a Bolingbrook townhome March 11, according to police.  Sign up for our daily email newsletter Like us on Facebook. The burglary took place in the 300 block of Windsong Court.  Someone entered the residence through the garage and stole a camera, computer, SD cards, diamond rings, necklaces, printer and camera equipment. $30,000 in Jewelry Stolen from Bolingbrook Home: Police

A Bolingbrook home was ransacked Jan. 17, the sixth reported residential burglary in January so far.

A Bolingbrook home was ransacked Jan. 17, according to Bolingbrook police.  Sign up for our free, daily e-newsletter.  Like Bolingbrook Patch on Facebook.  The residential burglary took place in the 600 block of Pinecrest Road between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.  The homeowner discovered the garage door had been pried open. Rooms were ransacked and numerous pieces of jewelry were stolen. The loss was valued at $30,000. It is the sixth residential burglary reported in January.  See the map above for where and when these January burglaries took place. Thirteen residential burglaries were reported to the Bolingbrook Police Department between Dec. 7 and Jan. 8.  See the map above for where and when these burglaries took place. Note that the street number is the block in which the crime occurred, and not the specific address.   In some instances, the burglar entered the home but left when he or she saw a homeowner. In one case, someone claiming to be from a cable company asked the homeowner to come to the backyard. The homeowner later realized several items had been stolen from the house.  The loss of these burglaries varied from a few hundred dollars to $23,400.  Here are the two most recent residential burglaries reported.  Jan. 8  The front door was kicked in, rooms were rummaged …
