ATI Physical Therapy was ranked fourth of the 25 large-size companies recognized. ATI was founded in 1996 and has 85 Illinois locations. The company employs 1,154 employees locally and 2,070 in the country, according to the Tribune. ATI was also recognized as a top workplace in 2010 and 2011. The winners of the Tribune's 2012 Top Workplaces were determined by surveying employees at Chicago-area companies about their overall job experience.
