Like Bolingbrook Patch on Facebook. Of the 36,405 residents registered to vote at precincts located in Bolingbrook, only 3,178 voters participated in the election, or 8.7 percent. That number was way under the Will County voter turnout of 16.84 percent, or 66,087 voters of 392,549 registered. The April 2013 Bolingbrook ballot contained three contested races: Valley View school board, DuPage Township supervisor and DuPage Township trustees. Eight other races on the ballot were uncontested. Awe... it's the good old, "I don't want to hear any complaints from those who didn't vote." Really? Because my biggest complaint is the crookery going on in Bolingbrook where the Mayor and his cronies are so afraid of challengers that they have anyone attempting to run stricken from the ballot.
