I am so glad a few people see what has happened administratively. I was concerned the public would be negative against teachers saying no to the contract proposal. On the vvsd website anyone can see the "Administrator Compensation Report". From 2010 to 2011 there was an approximate increase of over $1 million in administrator salaries and they went from 72 to 86 positions. Anyone can look and …   more ›

Unfortunately, my youngest is in all day kindergarten. I've personally stopped in and seen what 24 kids in a classroom looks like and I've got to say they need more adults. I wish they could just require parents to volunteer like private schools make mandatory. But, the reality is they built the all day kindergarten and it's here to stay, and they need more teachers in the classroom. It's not …   more ›

My comment was "Tongue in Cheek" about the Mayors Private golf club, although you do have admit, not having a referendum makes it tantamount to exclusivity. I have no issue with the Golf Course on Boughton run by the park district,as I actually feel the they do a very good job in running Boughton Ridge compared to Naperbrook. My issue is the Golf Course funded by the village which incidentally …   more ›
