Several pieces of jewelry were stolen from a Bolingbrook home on Dec. 20, according to Bolingbrook police. In all, $13,000 worth of jewelry was stolen. The rear sliding door of a home on the 400 block of Aristocrat Drive was found open and the jewelry was stolen between 6:50 a.m. and 5:40 p.m. On Dec. 18, another residential burglary took place on the 200 block of Douglass Way. In that incident, a Wii game system, TV, digital camera and chair were stolen. The loss and damage of the incident was $3,100. An attempted residential burglary also took place on Keystone Court Dec. 18. Three teenagers were arrested Tuesday, Sept. 25, after they allegedly broke the window of a pawn shop and stole eight guns. Bolingbrook police responded to The Trad'en Post, 295 S. Schmidt, at 3:18 a.m. Sept. 25. for a phoned-in, glass break alarm. Upon arrival, the officers found a broken window in front of the business. Officers saw multiple people run toward an adjacent subdivision. K-9 responded and began a search of the area, during which the officers found clothing and "other articles." Three car burglaries took place in as many days, according to Bolingbrook police. Two were reported on Sept. 17. Between Sept. 16 and 17, someone rummaged through a car parked on Charlotte Court. A photo and cash were stolen. Also on Sept. 17, someone smashed a passenger window and rummaged through a car parked in the 300 block of High Point Court. Nothing appeared to be taken.
