Two pair of pants, a coat and boots were stolen in two incidents in Bolingbrook on Aug. 30 and Sept. 2, according to Bolingbrook police.
We've seen thieves steal plenty of different items from cars -- purses, wallets, scanners, laptops and even loose change. In two incidents, thieves stole items of clothing from cars parked in Bolingbrook. On Aug. 30, someone stole a pair of pants and a wallet from a car between midnight and 9 a.m. in the 500 block of S. Bolingbrook Drive, according to Bolingbrook police. A coat, pants and boots were stolen between midnight and 7 a.m. Sept. 2 in the 1500 block of Woodland Lane.

The two teens were charged from an incident on Aug. 26 in the 200 block of Bowie Court, according to Bolingbrook police.
Two 13-year-olds have been arrested and charged with residential burglary in connection with an incident on Aug. 26, according to Bolingbrook police. The two allegedly popped out a window screen on the side of the home and entered through an unlocked window. The only item reported stolen was a Samsung cell phone. The incident took place between the hours of 7:15 a.m. and 1:45 p.m., according to police.

A burglary in which $6,300 in goods were stolen occurred the day after a burglary in which $18,000 in goods were stolen, Bolingbrook police said.
The day after $18,000 in goods were stolen from a Bolingbrook home, $6,300 in goods were stolen from another. Between 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., a bedroom window of a home in the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive was pried open and a TV, watch, DVD player, speakers, audio mixer, bass guitar and keyboard were stolen, police said. The loss was valued at $6,300. The day before, a residential burglary took place on Beaver Creek Court. Someone entered through a basement window and took numerous pieces of gold jewelry, Plasma TV, laptop and a briefcase with U.S. currency between 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The loss was valued at over $18,000.

Attempted home burglary A door was discovered with fresh pry marks at 2:10 p.m. in the 300 block of Whitewater Drive. iPhone robbery A victim went to meet someone to sell an iPhone 4S at 9:40 p.m. in the 500 block of King Arthur. The victim was given an envelope that contained folded paper instead of money for the phone. Reports state the person who wanted the phone displayed a handgun and left the area.
