Bolingbrook Police Blotter: Fight, Residential Burglary, Thefts

An attempted residential burglary, group arrested following fight and more reported to the Bolingbrook Police Department from Dec. 17-18.

Dec. 18  Residential burglary  Officers responded to the 200 block of Douglass Way for the report of residential burglary, police said. The homeowner discovered the front door kicked in and a Wii game system, TV, digital camera and chair were stolen. The loss and damage was valued at $3,100.  Attempted residential burglary  Officers responded to Keystone Court for the report of an attempted residential burglary, police said. The thief left the residence when he realized the homeowner was present. Nothing was taken.  Fight  Officers called to the 1100 block of John Hancock Drive for the report of a fight, police said. Police: Pair Leaves Bolingbrook Marshalls with Large Bags of Merchandise

Cosmetics stolen from Meijer, wallet and phone stolen from car and more in the Bolingbrook police blotter of Nov. 13-15.

Nov. 15  Theft from Marshalls  Officers were called to Marshalls, 1158 W. Boughton Rd., for the report of a retail theft, police said. Two subjects exited the store with large bags of merchandise without paying.  Theft from Meijer  Michelle Juarez, 18, 3 Liberty Ct., was arrested at 9:45 p.m. and charged with retail theft at Meijer, 755 E. Criminal damage to property, credit cards stolen from purse and more in the Bolingbrook police blotter of Nov. 14.

Nov. 14  Criminal damage to property  Harry Coulombe, 57, 429 Wellington Ln., was arrested at 12:28 p.m. and charged with criminal damage to property and two counts of criminal trespass to property on the 100 block of N. Bolingbrook Drive, police said.  Wallet, credit cards stolen from purse  A wallet and credit cards were stolen from a purse at a business on the 1100 bock of W. Boughton Road between 12 p.m. and 12:30 p.m., police said. Sept. 21  Four arrested after allegedly stealing alcohol  Lydell Smith, 23, of 505 Preston Dr., Fernando Gonzalez, 28, of 505 Preston Dr. and two juveniles were all arrested at 8:43 p.m. and charged with retail theft after stealing several bottles of alcohol from Food 4 Less, 271 S.
