Dec. 24 Theft from Menards Officers were called to Menards, 290 N. Bolingbrook Dr., for the report of a retail theft at 8:20 a.m., police said. The thief stole drill bits and attempted to return the unpaid merchandise. Wallet stolen from Meijer patron A wallet was stolen from a purse of a person shopping at Meijer, 225 N. Weber Rd., between 12 p.m. and 12:35 p.m., police said. HP laptop stolen from car A HP laptop was stolen from a car while the victim was shopping on the 200 block of S. Bolingbrook Drive between 6 p.m. and 6:15 p.m., police said. The loss was valued at $500. Theft from Macy's A 17-year-old was arrested at 3:39 p.m. and charged with retail theft at Macy’s, 645 E.
