Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts Collect Four Tons of Food
Food items will be donated to the DuPage Township food pantry and the Seventh Day Church food pantry.
Boy Scouts from Bolingbrook Troops 34, 35, 75 and 131 as well as Cub Scouts from Pack 31 and Girl Scouts from Troops 70117 and 70459 recently collected and weighed nearly four tons of food. Across the country, in many councils and districts, thousands of troops and packs with millions of scouts involved collect tens of millions of pounds of food which is distributed to needy neighbors. Food items from this collection will be given to the Dupage Township food pantry and the Seventh Day Church Food Pantry. The scouts want to thank New Life Lutheran Church for allowing the scouts to use the fellowship hall for the collection. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - There are plenty of ways to keep up on Bolingbrook news:
