Traffic was shut down on Remington Boulevard Friday afternoon to ensure public safety, police said.

Traffic was shut down on Remington Boulevard Friday afternoon after a construction crew hit a gas line, according to Bolingbrook police.  The road was shut down between Route 53 and Schmidt Road for public safety, police officials said.
