Missing Lockport Teen Last Seen in Worth

Family turns to social media for help in finding 15-year-old daughter.

The family of a 15-year-old girl missing since Sunday is turning to social media in the hopes of locating her. Courtney Jean Arp is believed to be a runaway and was last seen around 8 p.m. Sunday near 113th Street and Ridgeland Avenue in Worth. Courtney's primary residence is with her mother in Lockport, but she was visiting her father, Les Arp, in Worth for winter break when she went missing on Sunday. She is a sophomore at Lockport High School. “She snuck out her bedroom window,” Les Arp said. “She is definitely a runaway.” Courtney has not used her cell phone since Sunday, but has contacted a few of her friends privately on Facebook. “As soon as they asked where she was at, she terminated the conversation,” Arp said of his daughter. …

Missing Bolingbrook Teen Found in Romeoville

Bolingbrook police located Ariel Reyes in a Romeoville home Monday afternoon. She had been reported missing for a week.

A 17-year-old Bolingbrook girl reported missing has been found in Romeoville.  Police said Ariel had agreed with her legal guardians that she would be living at a friend's house in Bolingbrook, but left there to stay with her biological mother in Rockford. According to police, Ariel later left Rockford via a ride from a friend. Bolingbrook police began observing a home in Romeoville Monday thought to be her location, and she was located around 4 p.m. Monday.  The incident remains under investigation.

You tell them Armando!! I'm sure there's some family dynamics that are forcing your sister to seek shelter elsewhere. Adults can be very cruel and abusive, then they blame it on the young people.
