Two Valley View School District 365U schools will hold pancake breakfasts Veterans Day weekend in honor of area veterans. The public is encouraged to attend. Both Beverly Skoff Elementary School in Romeoville and Oak View Elementary School will serve veterans for free at their Nov. 10 events which run from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Oak View’s pancake breakfast will cost $4 for adults and $3 for children ages 5-11. Children under 5 will be admitted without charge. The breakfast will include performances by Oak View students. Skoff’s pancake breakfast is $3 per person with a prior RSVP to the school at 815-886-8384 by Nov. 5. Tickets may be purchased at the door for $4 per person.
