After Rejecting Raises, Plainfield District 202 Board Voices Support for Administration
Two weeks after denying administrators and non-union, non-certified support staff raises, the District 202 board said the staff was appreciated, but state funding is too uncertain.
Plainfield District 202 Supt. John Harper and school board members on Monday expressed their appreciation and admiration for the work of administrators and non-union, non-certified support staff, two weeks after the board rejected giving them a 2.5 percent raise retroactive to the 2012-13 school year. Melissa, You might be surprised but the low income rate in VVSD is over 50% compared to about 20% in 202. The truancy rate in 202 is 0.9% in 202 compared to almost 9% in VVSD. All of this information as well as much more can be found on the school report card website.
